Our Specialties

The Trust has a variety of specialist services; specialist NICU, specialist Orthopaedic services, Neurophysiology services, Cardiac Angiography, Cardiac MRI and Nuclear Cardiology.

Within the angiography suite cardiology undertakes percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), electrophysiology studies and ablations, biventricular device (pacemaker and ICD) implantations.

The Trust links with a number of tertiary units including Atkinson Morley, Charing Cross, St Helier, St George's, Harefield and Royal Brompton.

The Trust links with St Luke's (Guildford) and the Royal Marsden for cancer services.

The HEKSS Recruitment Team manages the recruitment of doctors into training posts and programmes across a variety of medical specialties on a regional level, but also coordinates recruitment on a national basis for some specialties, working on behalf of Health Education England.
